| Course Description | The objective of this course is to provide a short introduction to the (basic) mathematics used in economics. By the end of the course, you should be familiar with several basic tools used in economics including calculus of functions of several variables, optimization problems with and without constraints. A solid grasp of these mathematical tools will enhance the students´ understanding of economic models and econometric techniques. |
